A24 and Darren Aronofsky Collaborate on New Elon Musk Biopic
A24, in partnership with acclaimed director Darren Aronofsky, is embarking on the creation of a biographical film centered around the life of tech magnate Elon Musk.
Variety reports that the biopic will draw inspiration from Walter Isaacson's authorized biography, "Elon Musk," published in 2015. A24 emerged victorious in a fiercely contested bidding war for the rights to the book, setting the stage for an eagerly anticipated cinematic portrayal of Musk's extraordinary journey. This project marks Aronofsky's latest venture following his Oscar-nominated film "The Whale," featuring Brendan Fraser. It's worth noting that Isaacson's 2011 biography of Steve Jobs also served as the foundation for Danny Boyle's 2015 biopic, starring Michael Fassbender as the iconic Apple co-founder.
Elon Musk himself enthusiastically confirmed the development of the biopic on X, expressing, "Glad Darren is doing it. He is one of the best."
Excitement is building for this upcoming film, and audiences are encouraged to stay tuned for more details as the project unfolds.
